About our labratory

The realization of a sustainable society requires cities and transportation that are friendly to both humans and the environment. We are engaging in research to explore better cities and transportation, as well as better human life.
Our lab. was established in April 2023. Currently, the lab. consists of one staff and 11 students.

For those who wish to join the lab.

Our laboratory is able to accept Master's students and research students. Doctoral students are not accepted at this time. Those who wish to join us as a master course student must pass the examination of the Graduate School of Science and Engineering, Chiba University. For details, please refer here. Those who wish to take the examination should also contact the staff by the end of May. In addition, since students will be required to write papers in English and most of the classes are conducted in Japanese, we expect you to have language skills equivalent to TOEFL iBT 72 or above and Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) N2 level or above.

Students who wish to join our lab. should send an email to the staff with the following documents.
1. CV
2. Language test certificates (TOEFL iBT score of 72 or above and JLPT of N2 or above)
3. Research proposal (must include background, objective, literature review, methodology, expected outcomes)
4. Financial situation (e.g., self-financed, MEXT scholarship, other scholarships, etc.)
